Carlos Pazos

Carlos Pazos (Barcelona, 1949) is undoubtedly one of the reference points of Spanish contemporary artistic creation. Pazos studied architecture, philosophy and design, and in 1970 displayed his first exhibition. Since then, he has carried out numerous shows, exhibiting his famous montages, collages and installations in centres as well-known as the Georges Pompidou in Paris. It was Sindetikón, his itinerant exhibition organised in the 2000-2001 season by the Museo de Bellas Artes de Álava, that took him to the top at a national level.
