About this work:
In the works by Pariente we perceive a special fascination for light and colour, elements he commands to perfection. The work Polígono IV (Industrial Estate IV) belongs to a series of aquatints inspired in the Industrial Estates of Barcelona from the early XX century. The artist does not pretend to represent the industrial estate as an arid, grey and monotonous space, but to integrate it with nature itself and describe it as a landscape on its own, vivid and full of particular charm.
