Tramonto. Regard en arrière (Tramonto. A Look Back), a large-format screen print, is part of the project Mémoire de la liberté set up in 1991 by UNESCO, in which 55 artists from around the world (including Joseph Beuys, David Hockney, Antoni Tàpies and Motherwell, among others) use the declaration of human rights as a basis for creating works which since then have been exhibited in the most important museums around the world.
