About this work:
In the etching Vista sobre el taller (View of my Workshop), a still-life in which the atmosphere of the artist's studio is evoked using a language that makes the maximum possible use of the expressive qualities inherent in engraving. The brushes and tubes of oil paint on the table talk to us of a firm reality, which is both familiar and tangible.Behind them, a painted image within the image of the engraving provides a nod towards the concept of the still-life.
