Between returning from Paris to New York in 1979 and the beginning of the 90, James Brown (Los Ángeles, 1951) was linked to the school of the East Village. Since 1996 he has lived and worked in Oaxaca, México. Brown has had numerous solo exhibitions in famous galleries in the United States and Europe. His work can be found in key museums such as the Pompidou in Paris, the Nationalgalerie in Berlin and the Museum of Modern Art in New York.
