About this work:
An historical document and a great photograph. Accompanied by his friends, Buñuel's journey through Castille becomes a scene suitable for one of his own films. Saura's photographic instincts inspired him to capture Buñuel's presence, and the Buñuelesque scene in the left half of the picture, with a crippled beggar and some unemployed local men.
