About this work:
His fingers slide over the strings of the guitar with the sureness of a virtuoso, to extract from its dark entrails the most beautiful notes in living memory. The furrowed brow, the gaze lost in the distance - or perhaps concentrating on the depths within himself - seem to make us actual participants in the genesis of a piece of music. The halo that surrounds the narrow, almost mystical frame of the guitarist emphasises his position as a venerated icon of flamenco.
